How do I add smilies to a post? Drag and drop? I tried that, but instead of a smilie I get text.

When you are editing the message it appears as text but will be displayed as an image when you submit the message or when you click Preview Post.

No, you just click on one of the icons on the right and the text appears.

Jut try this, type a message and add those characters, Colon followed by a close parantesis, you should get

Gottcha! I had found this on the FAQ page earlier today, but thought there might be a simpler way to do this. Pardon me ... I'm very new at this. I just discovered this whole "signature" thing earlier, which I've been playing with all day. Next step .... avatars!
