Default New Forum Suggestions

Hi,
There are a couple of forum types that are popular on other car makes forums that I'd like to see here. The first is a set of regional forums. One thing I've noticed is that the different generations are segregated, of course I remember the 993 vs. 996 wars a few years ago

But there should be a place that we can get together to discuss local issues such as good repair shops, good tuners, who has what wheels, and most importantly a place to schedule get togethers and drives.

Another forum I think would be useful is car care. I have recently purchased a TT, and I'm clueless what to do about leather cleaning.

Thanks!

Hey Shark, are you the same "Shark01" that posted your Vette for sale (sold now) over on the Corvette Forum?

Yes, I lurk on several Forums.

As for the leather cleaning question...do you have leather that's visibly dirty, or do you think it needs conditioning?

There's a Car Care forum and Regional forums.

Go to:
https://rennlist.com/forums/

Scroll down to "Concours & Car Care" and "Regional Forums".

Why is it that those forums don't show up under forums.rennlist? They are misplaced, and judging from the lack of activity, I'm not the only one who isn't seeing them.

Sad.......

Do moderators check this forum?

I want it to keep looking nice, nice smell, etc......I guess that falls under conditioning.

You can get to those forums from forums.rennlist.com using a few methods:
1) Select "Perf. & Comp" and then "Concours"
2) Select "All Forums" then choose your forum.
3) Select "Jump To:" at the very bottom.

I'm not sure why there's not more activity in those two forums. Perhaps people go elsewhere for that information. Generally I've noticed that the model-specific forums contain a fair amount of Regional and Car Care discussion.

Do moderators check this forum?
Yes of course.

Regularly.

But your questions have been well answered by your helpful fellow members so I don't think that any of moderators had anything to add.
