Question Closing a thread?

Question....what are the conditions that allow someone to close a thread??

Also...no smilies...please see my other plea for help.

Closing a thread can only be done by moderators.

Still no smilies?

So, when you are posting a new topic, or a reply, you don't see this...?

lol...no way. All i see is the very bottom row of smilies, and nothing else but a plain text box. And, I DO have them turned on.

Hi Hunter..!

OK - try this.....

Select the "UserCP" link above (top left on the menu bar...);
When your Control Panel opens - select Edit Options from the left hand index;
On that page - look for Miscellaneous Options near the bottom of the page;
In the drop down box entitled Message Editor Interface - select: "Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls";
Click the Save Settings button...

Waitaminute - I'll try to turn them on for you.. You probably have the "Basic Editor" selected...
