I sent money via Zelle to Reginald Nelson (678) 756-0200 as payment for a set of 997 stock mufflers. The poster of ad was Doyle Geris doylegerisydz17@gmail.com and user name was Sjk157. I'm sure Doyle Geris and Reginald Nelson are the same person. I was ripped off for $350. I did a Google search and discovered others here have also been ripped off by this scumbag! Sadly for me this means I won't be buying from this forum again. Something should be done about this piece of **** and I have to tell you I wouldn't be that upset if he got hit by a bus!
i bet you posted your contact info publicly and a third party is who scammed you. This is very common and in fact we have warnings posted against doing what you did.
ads can not be posted without a premium membership, adding a post count barrier doesn't make sense.
Why not require the seller to be an active forum member with say 25 posts or more before posting a for sale ad? Scammers just buy a membership and try to get deposits. That red 4RS is a total scam.
because a large percentage of community members don't have 25 posts.
Then maybe they shouldn’t be trusted to place an ad on here. Or maybe at least don’t allow first post to be an ad, given how many of those are flat out scams.
