What's the significance of "Banned"
I'm not a guru of forum software. I observe that depending on how many posts you make, your "classification" changes. I refer to the tag line under the user's name susch as "addict".
I was browsing other forums and saw some rather harsh posts by a person who had the tag line "banned" as opposed to the more usual "addict".
Since he was posting, banned didn't seem to mean he was banned from posting. So, out of curiosity, what does "banned" signify.

Is it possible that the person was banned after posting? Changing the tag line could be to let folks know that person is no longer online without the admins having to delete the entire thread and/or leave massive holes in a thread.
Just a guess... otherwise no clue.
