I understand that there were 891 2011 Boxster Spyders built for North America and only 268 of those had the Manual trans. Can anyone tell me how many of the 2011 Boxster Spyders had both the Manual Trans and the Carbpn Fiber Racing Seats? ekris

You may want to post this on the 987 Forum as you’ll get more replies.

I don’t think anyone has actually taken the time to determine how many cars came with LWB vs the Sport Seats but speaking from experience and observation I believe the split between LWB and Sport seat is 40:60 in favor of sport seats. Dealers were under the impression most buyers wouldn’t want the LWb’s so they ordered their cars with the Sport Seats and sadly many Spyders were dealer ordered.

Are you in the market?

Thank you for your kind reply. I am not in the Market as I have a 2011 Spyder. Since only about 30 % of the North American 2011 Boxster Spyders had the Manual Trans......I was wonder how many of those 268 also had the Carbon Fiber seats as mine has.

Thanks for your info.
