Can you please make a proper mobile app?

Honestly, no. We can update the mobile theme with our own team, the app team is external and serves the entire company. Have you tried your mobile browser recently? Any feedback?

Robb, why all the parse errors on the old Rennlist app?
Garage Talk works fine for me, but I liked some of the old app features better.
Thank you.

Since iOS 11, pretty much all iPad forum apps have disappeared
Garage talk is iPhone only.
I find the web view on iPads buggy (e.g. it jumps to random locations in a thread when I stop scrolling).
Native apps have the best user experience for forums - in fact I believe the ipad platform is the best way to engage in forums. It WAS the best, that is..but now most apps are gone.

We released a number of updates to the mobile style and CK Editor this week, the 'jumping around' and text scrolling out of view should no longer be happening. Please let me know if you see that it is.
cheers,

Thanks - sadly it’s still jumping around.
I was just looking at this thread:
https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...arage-198.html
scrolled to the bottom, everything was fine. Then I scrolled back up to somewhere in the middle of the page, looking at some pictures, and it started doing it again.
Doing this on an iPad pro 10.5 inch with the latest version of iOS 11.

Browser on mobile works fine, but the app is preferred because it's easier and natively built, or should be.
Garage talk won't load threads, so I have to go out to the mobile site to see them anyway. I also can't search threads. The old app was far better even though it's old, aside from the parse errors. I'd still use that if I could, but phone upgrades won't let me download it from the app store.
I'm sure you understand the convenience of having a mobile app on your phone, otherwise you'd probably use your browser for everything. And really, the desktop app isn't all the better anyway.
I don't see value in paying for a membership that doesn't get used because of a bad app, which is how I interact with the forum 90% of the time. I don't use the member only forums much, so it's all app based.

We own vBulletin, and the software we use is a 100% custom fork, no way would we switch to an 'off the shelf' version now.
