I plan to ship a 2009 911 C2S from the US to Spain. Can anyone share recommendations/advice regarding the process, including high-end shippers? I am also trying to understand what modifications might need to be made to my car so that it will be legal to drive in Spain. Thanks!

I'm having a similar issue. My 911 is UK plated and even though I have it already in Spain, I have to do some docs to nationalize it. Basically you have to do all the docs to make it Spanish. Basically pay taxes: VAT and plating it. the amount will vary depending on the value of the car, but as a rough number 30% of the value. as for the car not much changes have to be done I'd say but I was told as well ITV in Spain is more picky than in other countries and they might ask a few docs before doing it ... I know some people who might be able to assist.
