emission test
So the car flew through the safty but the e-test kind of killed the moment, the resullts are as follows
ASM2525 Curb Idle
HC ppm 136 271
Co% 0.24 1.41
No ppm 859 N/A
Dilution 15:1 15.4
So the HC's are high on simulated Pass is 117
Apparantly the fuel can make a difference and the best I can work out the cause is valve/injector area, I have just loaded it up with injector cleaner and belted up and down the 401 (off to Burlington tomorrow) and will fill up with Premium fuel, the cleaner (@$25 should sort out the injectors) the car runs as good as gold and has no flat spots and does not hesitate so i'm not sure that a cap would be needed, the fuel is a year old and has been sitting for about a year so i'm sure that didn't help. Any other Ideas, the Co and No is all good so I think that rules out bore wear and the Cat.

Oh, if you see a white 944 belting around it's me trying to get rid of a tank of fuel and give the system a good clear out (thats the excuse I'm sticking to).
