Finally a Singer on Trader.ca

As for the waiting time for a new one, it's longer now than it used to be, but I'm not certain it's as long as two years. They have come a long way in ramping up to accomodate demand.

Just because the AT link is down doesn't mean the car has sold, lol...Also it could've been listed all along as a publicity stunt to sell other cars at Pfaff. Pffaf has been getting random viral online attention via Jalopnik a few weeks back and the ugliness of their Singer build is known globally too - perhaps they're just adding coal to the viral fire by listing it for sale for outrageous $ so everyone talks about it and them?

That Corrado was expensive though.

At that price, it really isn't.
Several Singer owners are on their second (or third) commission, so there are cars for sale with reasonable frequency, usually through Singer. A RL member just bought a car in Europe. A friend with a Singer in the US was offered cars while waiting for his build slot to come up, I suppose in case he didn't want to wait or at least wanted something in the meantime.
Whatever the case, the asking price is detached from reality, especially for such a, um, unique spec.

One can quibble about the colour choices.
I'd definitely own one if the $CAD wasn't so pathetic.

I am the previous owner of this Singer, when it was still a black on black 1991 964C2 from Switzerland. The car was commissioned by Pfaff as their first Singer, and the car is in Vancouver now.
