Default Just another reason to stick with a manual transmission...
Apparently, the manual transmission can act as an anti-carjacking device, essentially leaving the car immobilized when dealing with a new breed of thieves, who primarily developed their driving skills on an XBOX 360.

I recommend a car with no synchromesh and a choke...

I can see that as being a factor for sure.
Manual drivers are a dying breed in N America.
