Sam, if you haven't already done so, I would list it on the PCA national site.

Best of luck.

Selling an air-cooled 911 is hard. It's a small enough market already, coupled with the skyrocketed prices over the last several years. Finding a) people that are interested, b) have the money and c) don't already have one/want to change cars is the proverbial needle in the haystack.

I sold my 72 to a buyer in Belgium. I'd suggest advertising to the US and Europe. I put it on ebay (not expecting to sell it, just for the exposure), auto trader in the US and Canada. I considered BAT but I had already bought another car and the reserve they wanted to set it at was some $10 or $15k below what I needed to get out of it, and wasn't comfortable taking that risk. In the end I got what I needed (and then a bit) so BAT probably would've been fine.

But I didn't bother with Kijiji (at least, I don't think I did). It's full of flakes - that's where the people go looking for bargain-basement deals. I'd recommend avoiding it for anything other than a high-mileage low-price daily driver.

Hi Clive,
It actually went to a collector in Montreal. He really wanted this specific year Targa for some reason. Sight unseen
Although i had quite a bit of interest from state side however importing posed a few challenges. Now if i had more time and patience to put up with finicky Porsche buyer's i'd have sold it for higher $$ for sure.
