Car's in for IMS Solution
Expecting it back on Tuesday and looking forward to enjoying it with no concerns of IMS issues! I know it's an up front cost, but it's worth it for my peace of mind.

whaaaaat?
Dont get me wrong, I am sure its worth every penny to completely eliminate the possibility of IMS failure. Unfortunately, IMS is just one of a few major flaws of the M96 motors.
Definitely looks like this "IMS solution" is way ahead of the LN version though. Congrats and happy motoring.

I had the same reaction Stan, I remember asking Hunter about costs and IIRC it was between 1750 to 2500 as a worst case scenario. I would expect 5k if it were a 997 where you had to crack the case to replace the bearing.
