More price madness. 4.0RS
Gooding has auctioned off a 997 4.0 with 130 miles on it USD 748000. Plus buyers premium. $1 million plus in CAD. Amelia Island.
Would not be worth it to me personally.

Pfaff had one months back and it was $475 Cdn and I thought that was nuts. It was the deal of the century!

...and to think that there was 2 previous owners that compiled the 130 miles. This car may never see the 200 mile mark.

Market is bananas.
Not sure where the market will go once something goes wrong in the economy again.
I am not buying anything given the current inflated market, unless it comes out of a garage in need of work for the right price of course...
Also not buying anything stateside given weak CDN dollar.

I don't get it. What's so special about that car that you'd want to just put it on display and look at it now and then?
The greatness of the car is how it drives. The price of the car comes from the limited miles. It's an utter waste. Why spend all that money on one with just a few miles on it if you're gonna kill the value by driving it? And if you're not... then why bother at all?
People with money to do this baffle me. I wish I was one of them.
