Roar Before the 24 P Car Content
Just back from Florida and managed to grab a few hours at Daytona for the test day for the 24 hours to be held on 28-29 Jan. $15 to get in and free for the kids so worthwhile for the "Petrol Head".
Some really interesting machinery in various states of undress. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Interesting coincidence, I was also at The Roar!! On the Sunday...
I loved seeing and hearing the cars. The access to the cars, drivers, and teams is awesome at The Roar. You have to be an intense grearhead to like it; so I did!!
As it was my first time at Daytona, I was impressed by the size of the track and the stands.
It felt weird outside the track. It was like you where in a shopping mall area of Mississauga, and somebody built a huge track right in the middle of the city. The whole area must be really packed and intense on race weekends... I would much rather just attend the roar for that reason.
Seeing the cars... wow... the Rolex 24 is going to AWESOME!
