Default Fuel shortages

Just curious if folks have encountered stations out of gas. I saw for the first time here in Huntsville where my fav go-to was shut down today. I cautioned my kids to not let there tanks go lower than 1/2 before refuelling and that worked for me too.

No shortage in the Liberal stronghold of central TO. Is that a Conservative riding you're in?

No problem down in the Niagara area that I'm aware of.

As a matter of fact it is, RT Hon. Tony Clement. The issue on the fuel shortage is due to reduced pressure in the pipelines. In the 'did-you-know' category there's a 30 cm pipe carrying jetfuel from the refinery in Nanticoke at Lake Erie to Pearson Airport?
I learned this from my neighbour several years ago, he worked in the business and showed me the location some 10' from our property line. The line switches from Jetfuel to Gasoline. The line run through Burlington and Oakville and of course Mississauga and goes back to the 60's and is buried 10' down.

I always wondered how the airport gets all that fuel.

Hmmm, I may have to start my own gasoline exploratory project.

I know they got really excited when my neighbour started digging post holes that encroached onto the right-of-way.
