As a Canadian I have a tough time paying USD invoices for my USA magazines.
Last year I received an offer for Road& Track for 18.95 Canadian and for an additional dollar I could add Car and Driver.
I understand they are the same publication umbrella. I was pretty happy with my purchase. I tried the online, iPad set up.
I missed the tactile feel of the magazine. I'm on the computer all day.
Renewal time? Excited and happy to continue.
What? $17.95 each? I don't like it that much, and I don't like the doubling of the price. Plus some of the issues are pretty thin.
Called the call center in Markham. 1-800-888-7788
I politely suggested that I would like to renew my subscription at last year's rate. They obliged. Mail carrier will be employed for another year.
I will be continuing to fight my 13 year old for first reads.
Moral of my story - Don't get hosed, call.
