Default Free subwoofer

James (peritus) gave me this years ago and it works quite well, except that it takes up the floor foot space and my kids hate it. I'm not using it any more, so I'd like to pass it on to someone.

Apparently it was custom made for a 911 and it fits perfectly on the floor and over the tunnel hump. Should fit 1965 through to 1994. I'm not sure about 993s but I might fit. I doubt it'd fit 996 and newer but you're welcome to come by and test fit it.

Pickup only please.

Eh, it's free. Better than nothing in an old car, if you don't need the room in the back seat. I used it for years and it vastly improved the sound quality in the car from the stock system, even with upgraded speakers in the parcel shelf.

Can't tell if there's a cabinet or they're free air.
If it's a cabinet, then you need specs for the sub your going to use.
You shouldn't just replace the sub with whatever and expect results.

Come on, sure you could. Any decent sub will work, after all this is car audio not a high end two channel home system. Besides most people are playing music from their ipod or phone, so its already a garbage source anyway.

The OP is offering a free sub and I'm sure it will be of use to someone.

I bet you it works just fine as it is. This Fn' Grey Poupon mentality give a bad name to 911 owners.

Sure you can drop any speaker in a box just like you can mount any tire on your 911 but will it perform the same? Nope. Speaker components, like cars & tire have specs for a reason.

Even if i were a Corolla owner, I'd say the same. Guess what industry I'm in.
