Your telling me if, say the tire blew, while on the dyno, and a chunk came flying off, and injured some-one, and they sued your ***...you wouldn't wan't insurance!!!!

No insurace means, they can come after you personally!!

Sounds like shady business practices, to me......but again this is whats wrong with the Dyno businesses in Toronto.....everyone is looking for the cheap way to go, when clearly the safety, of the customer, and his investment(vehicle) should come first!

If the industry could agree on a set RATE, and not cut each others rate, every time they turn around...i've seen shops run for $10-30/hr, after hours. Then go out of business, 6 months later...because they didn't consisder stuff like overhead, insurance, maintainace,...not to mention the damage they do to the industry!

any-ways i find the topic..frustrating to say the least!

I know alot of shops make you sign a waiver, but has anyone looked at them to see, what they entail, who are they protecting, the operator, or the customer!

I was talking about about insuring against an engine going boom. That's what going boom usually means.

"BOOM "means anything that can happen on the dyno!
