if they produce an RS with a stick, now thats exciting
But, the next iteration of the GT 2, is going to set new records....
That being said the 997 GT 2 still the car to have IMO,
3 pedals, goes pretty fast, and a handful to drive....

U have to pay +$1mm to buy a 918 so you can buy the R, hold it for a year and make a $500k profit on some poor sap!!
Makes as many as people will buy at $225k

I hope I'm not the only one these pics are appearing upside down for... ;-)
I can almost get my head around $200K for a 911R if the driving experience is THAT otherworldly but even so. Drove the 570S and dear god that's on another level of engineering altogether. Makes the 911 feel like a Golf...well truth be told I was actually kinda surprised by how not **** my car felt after the 570S but still...another planet.

At the $200k+ snack bracket, the competition for great driving cars and unique approach to styling is vast. I still love my 997, but enjoy more than just sticking with one brand that wants to cater to "collectors and resellers". I've driven the McLarens, but the Huracan in the base 580-2 just felt more planted and has the fit and finish from the Corporate ownership of Audi.

Less than the 800k us McKenna wants for theirs.

It depends on what you expect of each car.
If you like 3 pedals, go for the slow 991R, if you like to be fast on the track, 991 GT3 is the car to go.
The PDK is amazing sharp.
Me personally, I prefer PDK on the track and 3 pedals as my daily.
Each car will have pros and cons, want to beat a GT3, get a 650s, impressive fast car, and it feels proper..
Comparing the $500k for the R and $400k for the 650s, me being a Porsche lover, and after driving the GT3 and 650s, I'll buy the McLaren....
