So about a month ago I was searching google images for Porsche wheel styles when I saw an image for Champion RG5's .
(I've been looking for couple years)
Finally found the wheels I wanted.
Asked you guys about them and go figure.. I picked the
Most expensive rims out there.
Found used 18's listed on PCA local site.
Bought set.
Refinished by Steve at WheelTec... looking almost brand new
Installed by Zook at SimplyTire
Was
Unfinished
Finished
Now
Fronts 235 x 40 18 Rear 295 x 35 18
Base Carrera with 18's as stock wheels.
I also painted the calipers red...
I know... I know... lowering in budget for next year.....
Amazing the change wheels can make.

Reason: Edit
I think the wheels are the socks and the shoes are the tires.
Yup... front offsets are perfect and rears need 7 to 10 mm spacers.
And will lower just a pinch... 1" to 1.5 ". Already blew the wifes budget this year so probably have to wait till next spring for new springs.
Yahoooooo
The stock tires were 235 40/ 18 and 265 40 / 18
I used the same tire on the fronts and went with
295 35/ 18 on the rears which is essentially the same
Overall dia of the stock wheels.
The 295's are 4.1 inch tire wall whereas the 265's were 4.2" tire wall so the 295's are slightly less tire wall
If i went to lower profile then the tire dia would be smaller which would change the speedo etc.
Also the wheel gap would be bigger and the associated
Harsher ride with lower profile tires.
Once I lower should be ok.
