488 GTB
So I was getting my car detailed this morning and when I went to pick up my car there was a brand new 488 GTB in for detailing. It is certainly a rolling piece of art. In my mind much better looking than the McLaren's and in my eyes even nicer than the Huracan. The engine through the glass cover is stunning.
Now I know I am not an average sized guy but I find the 991 really roomy. I was shocked when I went to sit in the 488. First of all getting in was uncomfortable because I had to lower my head so much. The Ferrari doesn't have the carbon fibre tub so it's easier to get into compared to the McLaren but still awkward compared to the 991. I haven't sat in a Huracan but I suspect it is similar. I had the seat all the way back and fully lowered. My knees were actually touching the dashboard. Absolutely horrible and undrivable. The 991 is so much more comfortable (for me) it's just astounding. On a positive note there was adequate headroom. The leather and the gauges were of a very high quality. No doubt a wonderful machine but as a DD the 991 reigns supreme imho. Lastly, the front spoiler is very low and far forward. There is no way to go over a bad speed bump. Just not even remotely practical. I thanked my detailer for saving me 200K since I do love the 488 GTB. Sigh, if only I were 6 inches shorter.

Noble. I am going to only respond to you this one time . 488 GTB=200K PLUS my car. Therefore it would cost me 200K. Now please go away. Your extremely low intelligence is irksome. I know the price of a 488 and no one on this forum except your few buddies really cares about anything you comment on. Now I will put NOBLEGT3 on ignore as well.Sigh.

Last I heard there was a 2 year waiting list just to order one new. So if you want one now I am sure for 50k above MSRP would get it done on a private sale. So I would say 370k MSRP on a decently equipped model plus whatever you would pay for the latest and greatest. I don't think +400k would be out of the question. Crazy.

And isn't obesity within the healthcare world really a sign of extremely low intelligence?

I have a 458, which is similar inside to a 488. I have carbon fiber sports seats and at 5'9", the seats are perfect. The car is very low so you do have lower yourself quite a bit to get in, but the driving position is perfect.
You are looking at close to $400K for a 488, as most will put in 40-50K in options.
The custom ordering of one's first new Ferrari (for me the 458 Italia) is a very special experience, and one everyone should get a chance to try if they have the means.

Dear Dr,
While I do sympathise with your loathing for Noble, I must urge you to reconsider adding him to your ignore list. Think about it, most members here, includng myself, can not offer valid input on vehicles this calliber. You block Noble, there will be like what, three of you left?
P.S. Having met both you and Noble in person, let me just say that you will both be surprized how much you two have in common. You two should golf or wrestle. Just sayn'

If your "somebody" and can afford to continually have the most sought after new Ferrari being delivered every 2 years at MSRP you can pretty much lose no money. The guy's that won't wait for a built would probably fork over MSRP on a 1 or 2 year old car will low mileage and a full warranty.

Eventually breeding will show itself regardless of the situation.......and as a teacher once said ......there is no substitute for stupidity...... just to feed the fire...
