I know there are pros and cons in going to 19's.
I was hoping 19's would fill in the gap a little more but I also know the ride will be a little harsher.

Can I ask your reasons to stick with 18's?

It wasn't my suggestion, but I have changed from 19' wheels to 18' on my 996. Although the 996 was not designed for 19' wheels unlike the 997.

18's are better in most ways except aesthetics. Ride handling and performance will both be better with 18's, although not all tires are available in the appropriate 18' sizes (notably the Michelin PSS).

From my experience, the biggest disadvantage of the 19" wheels is that they ride 1/2' higher. Most people then lower the car to compensate which results in reduced suspension travel and a harsher and less forgiving ride.

Thanks for all the info everyone.
I pulled the trigger on the 18" RG5's
Now I need a good rim detail shop.
I live East End and work central... Dufferin / 401.
Probably have 2 sets to detail if I decide to sell my stock wheels.
Thnks again.

I've 19's on mine. Very light wheels and I love the look.

They look really good.
I like the centre caps.
Where did you get those? Suncoast?

Forum member KLCC88 had them and I believe they were originally purchased locally from one of the Kijiji ads. I also have a set of the caps in black - they're listed for about $40.
