Terrible news about the injury..... I was there yesterday doing the exotic car experience.....Drove an awesome 997TT (pics in another thread)
Wasn't impressed with the staff's safety.......Employee #1 filling up a ferrari with a jerry can, Employee #2, standing 2 feet from Employee #1 (Not exaggerating).... lighting up a cigarette.
Couldn't believe it.

It's a convenient location and the price is right, but it's just not worth it safety-wise.

Should've seen this past Wednesday.... 
one car managed to miss turn 1 completely and was on the hill before quickly divebombing down into and completely missing T2... 
I just avoid when certain groups are on for their 'quick' spin-sessions on track and then go out...how these cars were wiping out HARD at ~20% pace is beyond me...
But I do love the place, smells of unregulated freedom

I totally agree with you regarding safety, which is why I stopped going to TMP altogether. On numerous occasions, I've seen guys drive go off the track in huge spins, dive bomb other drivers into corners without waiting for a passing signal and no one at TMP even has a word with.
It's a convenient location and the price is right, but it's just not worth it safety-wise.
