Looks like an amazing trip. The mountains, twisty roads and beautiful ocean.... just breathtaking. I am so excited to be doing a 9 day trip with my wife from Arizona back to Canada on old Route 66 this August.

964 is already there waiting my arrival....... old school air cooled all the way!!!!

In and around California is definitely the place to live if you are into driving and/or riding. Thanks for posting.

Great vid, thanks for posting.

The annual trip to Hershey is similar, except most of the cars are fairly new.

Here is my guide to Route 66 from many trips. It is structured West to East, but you can find the state-by-state guide embedded in the first thread...

Ronan,

Thanks so much. I briskly went through your adventure and was trying to find it again.

I have been doing a little bit of research and the books you have are the ones i am ordering. I am going to spend a bunch of time going through your blog.

Jeff
