Anyone ATV?
Looking into it, nice to find a cheaper alternative activity to DE.
What is a good starting ATV, also looking at the Polaris Ace all though not sure it is allowed on ATV trails.
Are dirt bikes allowed on ATV trails?

Great wife.
All though that kind of riding restriction is a deal breaker. I assume the only reason is that the seating position is not straddled and steering in not handle bar type. Otherwise it's the same thing as any other atv they sell. Very weird rules we have to live by.

The restriction I was referring to: is if it can't be used on ATV club trails, use of the shoulder of on public roads, and full access to country roads like ATV's have.
Ganaraska is not close to me anymore. I have moved in to the city but I am also still looking at cottage country for primary residence.

Yamaha grizzly 700 with EPS, best bike on the market! IMHO
I live in Kawartha lakes. It's illegal to drive a bike on our roads up here, however OPP couldn't care less as long as your obeying the rules.

ATVs are the way to go if you want to off-road up north. They are mini 4x4 one seater trucks. A lot of the old logging roads are well suited for them, dirt bikes don't do so well, and the side by side are too wide. My in-laws had all of them and his older Honda Foreman 450 is just about perfect for it. Only one major rule to follow when riding an ATV, don't put your feet down......ever.

I picked up an Arctic Cat Trail, side by side. Allowed on ATV trails because it is 50" wide and goes like hell(over 70 mph) it feels like a rally car on the dry or the snow.
