I met Brad at one of these meets and spoke to him for a while. It was nice to discuss cars with him and he had a genuine interest in how I lived in Dubai for 8 years so I indulged him on stories of what I saw etc.
Brad you are a great guy. RIP Brad.

BRADLEY BERT WILLIAM COPPING On Thursday, March 31, 2016, our dear Bradley passed away. Beloved son of Bert and Jeanette. Loving sister Rebecca, brother-in-law Dr. Alireza Bagherli, baby nephew Sebastian, grandmothers Marion Copping and Patricia Kiddine, his loving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews will all miss him dearly. Bradley received a scholarship for Systems Engineering at the University of Waterloo, but unfortunately his dream was cut short by an accident that left him a quadriplegic. His true friends stuck by his side through thick and thin and became our extended family, as did his live-in caregivers Rose, Richel, Roseann and Qasem. They treated him with great care. Bradley was truly an inspiration to all of us and faced daily battles with such grace. He had the most tender heart and a soft, kind way about him. Everyone who met Bradley immediately liked him and felt the warmth of his kindness. He was a computer guru and shared a passion for cars and hockey with his father. In his earlier years, he loved to spend time in Huntsville at the family cottage where he snowboarded, biked and snowmobiled. Bradley, you are our hero, our idol, our inspiration, our true love. You will forever live on in our hearts. Family and friends will be received at The Devil's Pulpit (on Hwy. 10), 3035 Escarpment Sideroad, Caledon, ON L7C 2G8 on April 9, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations would be appreciated to www.braincampaign.ca Please visit the Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com

A few of us attended the beautiful "Celebration of Life" reception for Brad this afternoon. He was a remarkable young man and it was very moving to see so many people come to join the Copping family in remembering him. What a great family they are and I feel privileged that we as his RL friends, were able to there with them.

I strongly agree with Phil.
Brad had many, many friends and it was evident from the size of the crowd just how well respected and loved he was. He very much enjoyed his visits to the GTG with his father Bert, and our Rennlist contingent was warmly welcomed as part of the much bigger celebration of his life. It was a privilege to be there.

Brad's family members were clearly moved by our attendance, especially his father Bert.
I'd like to think in a small way we made them felt the strong connection (Brad and Bert) had with the Rennlist Canada group, as well as how we felt about Brad as an impressive young man, especially after several great stories we heard this afternoon about Brad.
