Awesome. Thanks for sharing. I so wish I could take my 997 back to Scotland to drive. Brought a lot of memories of navigating some of the most spectacular roads and scenery. And it's exactly what you need a manual transmission for. The best I could do for wheels before I emigrated was a Vauxhall Cavalier SRi hatchback but pretty much anything on those roads is fun.

You douchebags need to form a fan club about me or get laid and get some hobbies. I wouldn't take a Cayman GT4 for free, regardless of transmission.
I test drove the Mclaren 570S today and the best part was while I was there a GT3RS rolled in, a P1 rolled in and I had my GT3 there. No manual transmissions around and all we could talk about was the "dummies" who are nostalgic for the mezger engine, air cooled whatever and manual transmissions. The overwhelming flavour was who is so silly that they pine for worse performance .
Anyway. The 570S was a very nice car but didn't get me hard so I don't think I will buy one. So we can all enjoy our manual transmission ( yes I have 2 cars with them) and please keep stalking me .

Insert golf clap here.

Had a 993 C4S - smelt like gas all of the time and felt heavy with its 282hp engine.

Every 911 I have owned has been a manual until my latest 991 C2S with PDK. There's no way on earth I could shift so fast or be able to pay attention at the higher speeds that this car commands. Plus I can drink my coffee at the same time...LOL.

Manuals are just a preference just like everything else in life. You cant argue they arent more involving can you?

Different strokes for different folks.

So anyone that disagrees with your opinion, has really soft skin,
A Burmeister stereo, surfs dating sites, or is always late, camera forgetting, wants a free lunch. and a douchebag.....And after all the insults merely due to a difference of opinion, wants to be in your fan club, because they need to get laid....You are one Special Deuxd!

Based on this, the journalists and world class race drivers disagree with your opinion because they chose the Cayman for car of the year, therefore they must be douchebags as well....
