Well.. I was disappointed...expected something a lot more exotic, I guess. The Tesla S blew me away when I tried it...just an amazing thing to drive. This car was a big hat, no cattle experience.

Ronan, I'm just curious if you are comparing the i8 to the RS, or it's just your driving impression.
The i8 would be compared to a regular 991,

I believe he ends up comparing to the Telsa S, it doesn't compare in any aspect to any 911 until we see a E version of one.

Just driving impression and more a reflection on the differing strategies of BMW and Porsche. I had a whole string of BMWs...540i,E39 M5.528i,645i and E63 M6. After the E39s I found them progressively less involving, but still good. This car was underwhelming for me, too cheaply finished for the price and hard to get in to. Glad I tried it, no desire to drive it again.
Of course the RS is a more expensive car, but I would take a Cayman, for instance, in a flash compared to the i8. Love the look of the i8 though...it turns heads.
