I posed in the 996 forum but had to comment it looks sick! I might do my c4s as well rather than paint touch up.

I had a c6 wrapped from black to white.

Around $1500?

Curious as to the price, and how long it's expected to last. I'm considering this route rather than paint.

Shinzo Media best in town. I have checked a few places, there is a lot of different shops that do this but their handcraft is the best. You have to look into the details on how the ends and edges are done.

5 years and it will start to peel. Owner's car had been wrapped for 3 yrs and I have see that in person, the wrap still looks new.

Looks like a great job.

I am amazed by how well they trimmed around the script (or did they remove it and then re-attach?)

My fear with wraps is that with all the cutting that must go on, that the clear coat would get scratched. Did the company that did the work talk about that at all?

they took out the lettering and re-attached.

i talked about the clear coat thing with them, they said they had to be certified to install the product (from 3M or Avery, i don't remember) and they had to attend a course to get certified. At the end of the course, they have to wrap a balloon, so if their handling of cutting knife is not delicate enough the balloon will pop, they have two chances to do it, if they fail, they don't get certified.

The satin finish, especially in that color, looks really cool. I like it.

The only way that I can see how a balloon can survive cutting of wrap is if cutting is done at an angle of more than 90 degrees. Sounds vendor embellished the certification process to me.
