Exactly. Do I really want to rebuild a suspension again? Have you seen what the Elephant and Smart stuff is selling for now?
Yup exactly it's pricey stuff. To have to build an entire car up again would cost a fortune, I'm trying to find a race car already built for a decent price - should have all the goodies I need. And my car now will serve as a street/track hotrod...

The owner of the 86' Targa's gotten back to me with this verbage...he's apparently now in Germany as he's retired and moved back with his wife. Did a quick searched on his name and he was with PCA UCR (5 year anniversary at 2005).

" Chen, I'm the only owner and the car was serviced since day one. The car is now at the shipping company stored into a sealed container in Sydney, (NS) Canada (So pick up is not an option!). I have used the company where is the vehicle stored to ship a few of my belongings to Germany and I was very pleased. They will take care of everything; Shipping and insurance, power of attorney to sign the bill of sale, escrow services for payment, all necessary documents. When the vehicle is delivered you will have a 5 days inspection period to test it and inspect it.

You will not have to pay any fees of any kind regardless of your decision. I'm sure that won't be the case since they also do a mechanical inspection before starting the delivery and will send you the copy of: Carproof, Drive Clean and also a copy of the Vehicle Inspection report provided by their certified department which includes: vehicle model; VIN#; accessories; exception/damage report; test drive report and inspection comment of the engineer. If you agree to buy it, after the inspection period, the payment will be sent to me when ownership is changed to your name. Let me know if this is acceptable for you, so I can contact the shipping company and ask them to speak directly with you. "

Default Scam No surprise

There is not a week that passes where there is not a scam on that venue.

Usually no phone number posted, crazy low price, no lic plates on car, vegetation that does suit the climate, and of course usually for sale in some small town..
