New Owner --2003 911 Turbo--
Hey ladies/gents,
Been a long wait to get into my first Porsche... finally happened in June! After many years looking at 996 GT3 (and me procrastinating a bit for the right car) I landed a nice 2003 Yellow 996 911 Turbo. It was a bitter sweet day as I've recently sold my Corvette C5 Z06, but it was for the best as I didn't have time to drive both. Mods that were done on the car:
SUSPENSION
• 996 GT3 Cup – ride height adjustable suspension
• 996 GT3 Control Arms
• Solid Bushings in Control Arms
• Rear Adjustable Toe links
• Rear Adjustable Links (Dog Bones)
• Front Adjustable Link
• Front and Rear Adjustable Sway Bars
EvoMS Stage 1 flash with Intake
Recaro seats, 6pt harnesses and rear half cage colour matched to exterior.
So far I want to just enjoy it as she is right now, may do an exhaust next year to wake her up! Other than that I plan to track a few times this year @ Grand bend. Some pictures below (will be putting on my custom plate after the vette ownership is transferred):
Will post a few more pics when I have the chance, so far really enjoy the car! Hopefully I'll get to see a few members at local gatherings (not too sure if there's a lot of Windsor area guys around)?

Was that the one for sale at SCB this Spring? Fantastic looking car inside and out if it was. I was very tempted...
Congrats on the beautiful new ride!

Thanks guys! Good to be part of the team officially...since starting the search in 2010. To answer some q's, yes was the car from SCB... Went to see it in February then put a deposit on it a month later.
I will be tracking it, just haven't had much time this summer with work being busy. Excited to bully some GT3s when I get the chance
My father came over on the weekend to visit and I threw him the keys. To compare both cars his words: "the Vette is fast, but the turbo is just scary!"
Can't wait to re-tune after an exhaust! Maybe next year.

Thanks, that GT3 looks mighty fine as well,
Two close friends both had 996 turbos (one being stock other being an x50). With exhaust and re-tunes both saw 50+ hp and much better midrange/throttle response. I've never heard of a turbo losing after applying an exhaust ...
