Sorry to see that. Do you have a wrap on it?…I had a similar experience and marks, but it never went through the wrap...

Ya, I just dont get it.

Even parking the car farther and out of the way and then you come back and find some doorknob parked beside you.

My 2014 Tiguan has such a big door ding in it the person must have opened their door using both feet and kicking they're door open as hard as possible.

How is it that people just dont care?

Sooooo frustrating esp when Im so careful.

That's horrible...sorry it happened to you. Many people have no integrity nowadays and hit & run. Then you have most people who seem to turn a blind eye when they witness these incidents as it doesn't affect them. I guess this would be a long shot...but any video cameras in the vicinity? Even if there was, the owner of the camera may not provide the video (this happened to me at a Petro Canada - they refused to provide the video of the incident where I was rear ended while outside of the car filling in gas).

Good luck!

On the plus side, if there isn't a dent you can touch this up so it won't be noticeable.

Unfortunately the scrape is pretty deep, it will most likely need to be re-sprayed. Getting a quote as we speak.
Not a happy camper. Felt violated...

After my wife and I were examining the scratches more closely, it looks to be a kid's bike that may have come to close and scraped it.
Probably laughed about it too.

Just be lucky that if it was going to happen, its "just" your front (or rear) bumper thats damaged. If it was a fender or door that would suck so much more. Repaint those bumpers as much as needed lol.

Sorry to see that on gorgeous yellow P Car.
Unfortunately this is a too often occurrence, have had to have my wife's car fixed almost annually as she parks in a mall parking lot. The sides get riddled with dings mad scrapes on corners.
Every time I park my TT in a busy lot I hills my breath and always check the doors before getting back in praying that cars parked next to me are conscious and not ******.
On the grand scale of things, scrapes are something easily repairable and are not a major problem in our lives. Someday soon you will likely forget about it after its repaired. Best of luck.
