Was anyone else from Rennlist there? If so, post some pics/vids!

I had a great time in the wet Awesome opportunity to get a feel for the limits of the car in low-grip conditions.

Nice photo of Andy's '72 T
I was the guy releasing cars into the accident avoidance exercise.
it was a great learning day because of the rain.
Then, the DE event on Sat/Sun had perfect dry conditions, and the relatively few people attending had a good time at this very technical DDT.

You did a great job of explaining the exercises. Excellent communication.

I wish I could have attended the DE too. I will get to one eventually

It was a fun day -- Those wet off-camber turns on the DDT made for some tricky driving.
Unfortunately, due to the rain, I don't have many decent photos.
_snowbird_ -- Nice pics (you can see my silver 991 at the front of the row in the second-to-last photo), thanks for sharing.
Your red 911 is a beauty

Nothing makes you a smooooother driver, than a little rain.
I was up there last year for a Pffaf day.
Fantastic facility. Heat, air conditioning, bathrooms, shelter.
It's been a few years. That's all new stuff for me.

Great to see a decent amount of new cars at the IDS. I did the DE at the DDT last year and enjoyed the technical driving.

I just drove the DDT track this week in the Bridgestone School Formula SCCA cars and WOW. What a blast that is.

Love driving in the rain.... it's a great equalizer where hp matters least and smooth and steady the most.

Keith - how was the Bridgestone School Formula SCCA? Am thinking of signing up for the three-day "Learn to Race" course in October, and I even fit (just - but I do fit) in the Van Diemens... is it worth it or would you recommend another race school?

Highly recommended! Lot's of seat time and class between every session. It's not inexpensive but it's the only course that gets you an SCCA regional and CASC class B License.
CASC and Trillium (same instructors for the most part) offer great programs as well. Instructed at the last race school on the GP track and it was fantastic!
Apologies to the OP

I just did the last two days in the Advance to Racing. If you have any previous experience speak to Brett. You may be able to opt for AR and skip day 1 and save yourself a few bucks.
