Calling all Aircooled owners, friends and family!


Porsche Centre Oakville has offered to open their cafe and front parking lot for us to meet on Saturday, August 15th for a morning of aircooled greatness over some lattes! The goal is to have a super-meet with all local Aircooled Porsche groups to showcase our beautiful classics starting with the 356 all the way up to the 993. Please save the date, and help make this event epic! This is a great opportunity to come together and meet new people, talk about our cars, snap some photos...(maybe even go take a quick peek at the new jaw-dropping tech our Aircooled Porsches helped develop).

The Scoop:

Where: Porsche Centre Oakville (250 South Service Road West Oakville, ON L6L5N1)
Why: It's Porsche season!! Awesome cars, awesome venue..... ummm, seriously, why not?!


Please post in the thread if you are planning to come! I'd love to get an idea of the numbers as we approach the date. As always, all Porsches are welcome, though since this is an Aircooled focussed meet, we ask that the water-pumpers park together! And just a note for ALL Porsches, please, please, please, park reversed-in so that we are all uniform for the photos.

I'd like to attend but do they have enough parking? We don't want a repeat of that spring fiasco at 427.

Off topic but I also went to the 427 fiasco. Drove around. No parking. Turned around and went home. I nicknamed it "spring into no parking".

Ronnie, they have parking for us out front. If there will be more cars than spots, we'll just park on the street in front of the dealership. Obviously if you get there earlier you'll get a pick of spots. The plan is too keep all the porsches together by type (wishful thinking but that's the plan).

The 427 thing was a challenge because they didn't have any more parking besides what's on their property, plus they had to accommodate all of the cars they had on the go at the shop. Porsche Oakville has the quiet south service road plus westgate road to park on if it's a zoo. But let's hope that doesn't happen!
