Maybe it's brand culture? Modern day muscle car thing?
Last year at another exotic car event that had Porsche's, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, McClarens etc, one guy in a Corvette felt the need to do Donuts in front of everyone ?!?!
Even the Viper guys were shaking their heads.

 

it's a muscle car thing, see it all the time around here...as long as nobody gets hurt, lots have fun...
