OT: Hi lift retrofit for garage door....
Can anyone recommend a good garage door repair / installation company to install a hi lift extension to my existing double garage door opener?
Getting ready to order a 4 post lift and need to get the adj done before the lift is installed, GTA west end.
Thanks in advance

I don't have a specific recommendation of installer, but I designed mine and I do have a suggestion from my own build:
If your design requires the door to turn a corner where the top of the wall meets the ceiling, bear in mind that you won't have room for a light on the ceiling where the door covers it unless you allow at least a foot from the top of the horizontal portion of the track to the ceiling, because the door's rollers are the most offset at the top of the door and this means that the top edge of the door will sit about 6" proud of the track in the UP position. It's a dimension that no one really thinks about when designing these (I didn't), and I think it's the only mistake I made in designing my system.
The conventional argument for not having a light there goes: "Well, it's not an issue because it would be covered when the door was up anyway!" but I wish I'd left the room for another strip of lights on the ceiling because I normally have the door closed when the lights are on.

As far light you can never have enough. I put three double florecent tubes fixtures. For my garage door I ended up building swing out doors operated by ate openers. My car is 1" from the ceiling a right fit.

Pretty much any garage door company can do your high door lift.
They will have to replace the upper tracks and then install longer cables and a bigger spring to lift the extra height.
Jack shaft opener is the only way to go as it keeps the ceiling clear.
My doors were installed by Costco and just called the installer directly to do it last summer.
The opener I did myself. Had to run the hydro since most plugs are in the centre of the ceiling.

BJ Electric did my first high lift and charged $1200 with the jackshaft opener. Garage doors inc did my second one for $750 with the same opener...
