I like this...reading about Spring drives. 
Like the day Pitchers & Catchers report for Spring Training...it creates the anticipation of warmer breezes and dry roads. Been too long.

Must be a mild March in the GTA? I'm still under 2' of snow and our new place is ~500m down a narrow private gravel lane with a 6" layer of ice.. Even on a dry sunny day I'd end up in the snow bank before even getting to the main road. Oh and we're expecting +45cm this weekend. Hopefully I'll have the car out by mid July.

imo feb+even first few days of march were horrible. mon-wed were practically 15 degrees warmer... tons of melting going on.
