^ lol, was waiting for it, "Qu'est-ce que c'est le cheese dans my wife's bouche?"
Great city with lots of things to see and do in addition to fine dining. I agree with signing up for the walking tour as well to learn some of the fascinating history of the old town and area in general. Drinks at the bar in the Frontenac a must simply for the view on the patio. The farmers market down by the marina is also a great spot for unique food finds and fantastic charcuterie and cheese.

I love cheese, I have been told here about their cheese and now I'm very curious.
And what exactly you mean "especially, if you are from Toronto"? I'm not Canadian or Toronto raised but live here since 2012 so there's something that I am missing. I now there's some hate towards Toronto but I never understood why.

I really loved the suggestions here, thank you so much. This year old Quebec City next year Nova Scotia and then Vancouver which I've been told once I will visit I wont come back to Toronto. Maybe because I lived 25 years on the close to the beach.

Carl80.6:
Referring to a very funny OKA cheese commercial broadcasted often in anglo Canada.
An anglo couple gets served by a franco server in a Quebec town.
At the end of commercial, man ask server where to find Oka cheese.
Server says: No more in town but a cousin from TRONTO (heavy french accent) brought me some. (wrong spelling intentionnal)
Woman says to her husband once server is gone: TRONTO, eh .... must be near Quebec City.
Watch for it!

Perfect! Thanks for posting it.
Your cultural training is complete.
Warmth-wise, Québec is probably 3 wks behind Toronto so plan accordingly.
Bon voyage à Québec, Qc, mon ami!
