Here is the Grand Bend Raceway 2015 Car Lapping Thursday Evening Schedule:

May 21 Thursday

June 4 Thursday ( June 6 Saturday Porsche of London day )

July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 - all Thursdays

August 13, 27 - both Thursdays

Pre-register Thursday Price - $60

I intend to be at all these events with my new GT3, replacing my Cayman R which is now in Porsche of London's showroom.

Three Groups - beginners, intermediate and experienced.

Hope many of you will join us at the Bend.

GT3 GMG Roll Bar has been installed by Pfaff Tuning and will soon return to Porsche of London to await Spring Delivery. Getting ready for the Bend in May.

The Saturday Porsche of London event is Porsche only, Pre-register by contacting the dealership.

Thursday Evenings are open to any car. I sometimes bring my Honda S2000 CR as well.

I met a 911 owner from Tecumseh who is planning on trying Grand Bend Raceway Car Lapping this year.

Any other Windsor Area Porsche owners planning on joining in at the Bend in 2015? How about from Chatham-Kent?

Sorry for the total newb question (I have never been to the track before), but aside from $60 and a tank of gas, what other expenses should I account for to join one of these events?

Do I need any lessons or certification to enter at the beginner level?

The car has good street tires and fresh brakes. It is an 08 911 C4s.

Just Pre-enter for the $60 price and come to the Bend. No experience required for the beginners group, but there are more experienced drivers who will assist you. Bring a helmet or you can ask to rent a helmet, they have a couple. I will be there most nights, so PM me when you plan on going and I will introduce you and try to help you.
