Screwed over by Pfaff Porsche and Porsche Canada

They want to pennypinch on a repair and would rather pay outrageous legal fees instead? That would be stupid of them. I also doubt it'll get to that as I plan to get PCNA involved first.
I was also told by Porsche Canada today that they'd "generously" cover 2/3 of the expenses incurred to diagnose the problem ($7k!!!). It should've been covered under warranty. Nice. This is just ridiculous.

Someone on this board came across a very expensive legal team on an insurance claim case. They do it NOT to set a precidence, and to warn others.
I do think you got screwed ,just be very careull on next steps i would think.

Reality is it's not just an RMS. The engine loses compression so it's major work. Their petty compensation to remove the warranty would be far from covering such expense. CPO gave me confidence to buy the car. I was naive and will look at those types of warranties differently from now on. I got cheated.
If you have clear evidence that the engine is messed-up, and they are being this difficult. I suggest you take the hit on returning the car without n-rated tires, and walk away knowing you only lost a few thousand on the deal. If you do anything else you will always live with the fact that you are getting screwed and you will never be able to truly enjoy the car.
Very sorry about your experience... it sucks that people work hard to own such a lovely car to have a bunch of lawyers and bad business people mess things up.
If everything falls apart, I will help you throw cheap wrenches at the Pfaff dealership in Toronto... (Just kidding, I don't support vandalism)

PCNA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Porsche AG. PC Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of PCNA. The head people at PC Canada actually report to PCNA not Germany. When I had a problem two years ago with my 991 Radio it was settled, sorted by PCNA staff very efficiently. Both the cheque and the leather jacket came from PCNA not PC Canada.

Negotiating? I would have thought it was more black and white as to whether a car was good enough to be CPO...
