counting my lucky stars this morning.

was driving to get my front end installed and while still on the small streets in the area my 1st->2nd shift felt 'loose' and i knew my shift cable had snapped (has happened to 4 other 911s i personally know).

limped the car home (clutching at the stop signs) in 1st gear and now waiting for the flatbed.

it would have been helllllll if this happened only 1500 km ago during that bumpy road course!
