Ballpark. 180K new. You would have to be out of your mind to pay 155K for that kind of damage. Also, being a 2014 it has had the engine replacement which imho devalues it even more.

The base price of a 2014 (and 2015) 991 GT3 was $148,800, before options and taxes.

And I'm sure the thieves followed the proper break-in procedure.

How does something like this get stolen. If it were a true theft this would be on a boat to Russia. Probably a track day gone bad. I'd guess 20k worth of damage.

$155k plus repair costs (probably 20-30k) and diminished value upon resale as it's labeled of salvage or theft recovery?
No thanks. May as well buy a new one for that money.

well im glad it wasnt just me , i wanted to give the OP the benefit of the doubt.

We had a Porsche night at Pfaff autoworks .. and the costs that were being thrown out to fix some of these cars border on unbelievable.

id think 20G to fx that would be on the light side when they start taking all the bits off and throw it on the celete machine..

Ice is right that repair is well north of 20k, and once repaired there's the issue of diminished value of the vehicle as a result of the collision to the value of the repair.
