i think we all know how this is going to go down , the ins companies are going to lobby lawmakers who are going to pressure car manufacturers.
its gonna be built into the can-bus of the car and they are now in the DNA. and definitely the next generation of car owners are screwed.

Wonder if this is going to apply to cars over 15 years old and not used as a DD. I am thinking my DD should be a car that has no ODB computer.

I'm wondering if the ODB II ECU's that won't smog without a sniffer are immune?

If something like this OBD2 BS did come into play, I'd be getting another 951 for a D.D. ..
