Hard Times - Looking at selling my 02 Porsche 911

Race Car
FWIW, I had a convertible BMW listed in auto trader at wholesale price (maybe even a bit under) and I had precisely 2 bites on it. I decided to hang onto it until spring and sell it then at a proper price. It's the worst time of year to sell a sports car, especially with how early and strong winter has come in this year.

Ha ha...I need a job to keep the car till April. If it wasn't for my situation, I would have kept the car...the work I have done to it..its a keeper.

Try to make it work, maybe try selling it in a market where Porsche values are much higher and their $ is worth more then ours.
Maybe another option is to sell it to a lease company and then lease it back at a much more manageable payment.

Jake... to help you keep your car, please let us know your profession or type of job you are looking for... ya never know how one may be able to help. Because I asked, your not breaking any rules! ;-)
Second, I have been watching the prices of 2001-2004 996s closely for over 2 years. Your car is priced very well, but most buyers do not appreciate the time and value you have put into the car. I can't buy a Porsche right now for a few reasons, but if I could, this is the first car I would be looking at... and I can confidently say that I watch the 996 market in Canada very closely. In the last few months, there have been many cars come up for sale, but not many are moving. So don't feel bad!
One suggestion is to remove the graphics if possible... some people may be turned off by them, and not many people are going to buy the car because of the graphics... so they are not benefiting you at this point.

I am in the "don't like it" camp.
I am sooo very tempted to purchase a 996/996TT/996C4S at the moment because of the attractive prices.....but given the holiday spending.....cannot justify it at the moment.
Come spring, I am sure this will be snapped up real quick

The Graphics is just a decal...it comes right of...hope potential buyer realizes that and can see past that.
