Default 991 GT3 RS testing hard.....

Probably been posted before but what the hell. Really like the new ridge design on the hood vs smooth if that does become the final design.

Ronan, you seem to have an inside track........any indication from your sources whether the engine will be naturally aspirated or turbocharged? And what about displacement?

N/A 4.0,500HP or so, PDK only, AWS,magnesium roof, a lot of CF on the front end, 918 seats.
Lots of speculation about price and launch date, but its going to be expensive.

As usual we do not get the standard roll cage here, nor the lightweight glass/plexiglass rear screen. However, we will have the optional 90l gas tank, whereas the 997 RS all had 65 litre tanks in North America, while the ROW cars had 90 litres.

Evidently the final product could easily change, but the info I have is pretty consistent from multiple sources.

Nice video, it also show how effective is the PDK on it, really track oriented. Thanks for posting.

This sounds like a very possible product to launch. Probably a good thing for the 7.2rs owners if he 991rs is priced close to 250K. That should help the manual ladies to keep their value.

No helmets! I've driven the 'ring and would never push a car without safety gear.

I've done about 145 laps both with and without a helmet Much more relaxed about regs there, as you know. Pretty common to go with none. Pretty common to stuff the car too of course.

i think the fact its a GT3RS would indicate its naturally aspirated. a Turbo would carry the insignia GT2RS .
