Comparing ALL the regions, Rennlist Canada exceeds every other region combined by a country mile when it comes to posts/activity. I wonder why that is?
I was going to say because we hibernate for 8 months of the year?
And surf the net whilst taking a break from wrenching on the Porsche...gotta have a winter hobby.

I do find that many of the posts are from people I see at the Sherway GTG or other GTGs around the GTA, so it feels like a smaller community which is why people post more.

Very true. Before we started our regular Sherway GTG's in 2006, the Canada forum was pretty quiet. But once people started putting faces/p-cars together with user ID's, this place changed into what it is today....which is a good thing!
I should add that it was thanks to this forum that I found my car in BC!
Maybe because Canada is an entire country, and not just a region within the USA. And you're an English speaking one at that (as compared to other parts of the World).

I'll agree with Patrick, it's easier to get the gist of a thread if you know the players in person.
I just use it as a place to post nonsense to get my post count to 10,000 so I can finally go to the secret last page of the random picture thread in OT.
... I guess also it's just a fun forum to chat/discuss a variety of content. Like an online version of the Saturday Gtg.
