Indy Car to CTMP?
Could happen is the rumor I hear.
- Texas race won't give up June date Toronto wants in 2015.
- Toronto doesn't want to go head to head with Montreal F1. (Duh!)
- No other dates available for Toronto except the date Texas wants and seems to be going to get.
- July dates out in Toronto (CNE) because of Pan Am Games.
- June is a flexible month for CTMP.
- CEO of Indy Car did a track inspection of CTMP last week.
Unknowns:
- Will Honda Canada sign on for a different track as sponsor.
- Does Green and Co. have a first refusal right on any race in our area and or would they do a track rental at CTMP?
- What changes if any safety wise, would have to take place at CTMP?
50/50 odds right now.

I was the track doctor at the Indy for 3 years but I kinda lost interest. If it moves to Mosport I would definitely go. I think it would be awesome to be on a real track........I might even volunteer again!

Whoa... Mosport or CTMP is a very fast track. It will be many years until I go to a downtown Toronto race again, but if they raced at CTMP, I would be there for the first race!

I was still marshalling when Champ Car came to Circuit Mont Tremblant about 10 years ago ... what a great weekend !
The howl of the two seater V10 Minardi F1's with Mario Andretti at the wheel driving stunned press folks around for a lap was priceless

Would live to see it happen.
Would be interesting to see the updates required for Indy at Mosport. Catch fence upgrades on back straight and down through 4? Turn 3 outside runoff paving? Deeper tire wall at 8? Push wall back at 10?
