Clear bra
It's going to be expensive, I spoke to Patrick Casavant who did my car a couple of years ago, the issue is to have the dealership remove and reinstall the necessary trims, mirror housings, door handles, locks etc., to properly apply the film and maintain the invisibleness of a proper "full" application, he does not want to remove these items himself to incur the risk of damaging any components on the type of cars where an owner would ask this type of film coverage, therefore he didn't want to provide a general estimation since there are many variables involved.
But if I were to guess, then I would guess easily $6K+.

From what I have seen, vinyl wrap is easier to apply than clear film due to being thinner, the opaqueness makes the application more tolerant to minor mistakes too, the material is also less expensive and not intended to be as durable as the clear film products.
Does the $3,500 price include removing the trims and door handles etc. or just "trim to fit" against those items?

Agree regarding the material being less expensive, quote included removal of trim, headlights, all rear lights etc etc. I may pull the trigger next year to change this up and protect the original finish as the car has had zero paintwork since new.
Slate grey might really work on the 993. Hmmm, I love the green though.
I recently had a clear bra applied on the front end and top windscreen on my Maserati by Patrick. He was well recommended by our very own RL community which I hold in high regard. Here is the original thread.
I've used Marco at Advanced Mobile Group - www.advancedmobilegroup.net for all of my cars including my 991. He always stands behind his work, and his work looks great. He can do Ventureshield, 3M and Xpel.
I wouldn't recommend using regular vinyl wrap as a substitute for a clear bra. It is pretty thin, and not as durable as a proper clear bra.
