Default Buying a Macan S :)

I took the Macan S out last week and WOW! what a great little truck. I was very seriously looking at keeping my CTS as my winter car and getting the base F-Type (great car also for the money) as a summer daily driver, but decided to get the Macan and drive it year round.

I still need to find a dealer that I want to work with as I am hearing everything for $0 off to 2%. I can't stand the thought of paying full pop for anything

I don't think you will find a dealer willing to give you a discount on the Macan. I have one on order and looking at December or January delivery. If you get a discount it would tick me off for sure! I have bought 3 Porsches in the last 3 years and couldn't get a discount.

I joined the Macan forum and heard from 4 local guys who got deals as high as $1,000 off. So far, I've only been offered a set of winter floor mats...

My brother in law is getting his from Oakville. Making the trip to take delivery in Germany in November I think.
No deal to be had. New model and big demand so the dealers aren't budging. maybe a year from now.

^^ +1 I enjoy letting others take the major depreciation hit. My wife's DD for sure when they start coming off lease.

I'll be looking for off lease vehicles when my Subaru gets too old. Best of luck wrangling a deal on the hottest new SUV on the market.

if you custom order it, no deals.

if it is on their lot and not sold, then perhaps some incentive.

if it has demo miles, expect good incentives.

I expect this will help the value of the newer Cayennes to come down a bit... Looking forward to getting into a 2010+ Cayenne in a couple of years...

Thanks. They are saying that I should have it by the end of Jan, but I really don't need it until May, so no worries there.

I agree a Cayenne diesel is tempting, but the Macan has pdk.
